    1935 Canadian Pacific Railway Letter with Itinerary Trip to Alaska, Canadian Rockies, CPR Perfin
    Description
    Uncommon 1935 three page letter with itinerary for a Canadian Pacific Railway trip to Alaska leaving from Beacon, New York, then to Montreal, Vancouver, Skagway, back to Vancouver, Seattle, Minot, Larimore, St. Paul, Chicago and returning to Beacon. It included a “Steamer” trip on Lake Bennett. The letter is addressed to U.G. Brown, Campbell Hall, New York (then corrected to 19 Bush Avenue, Newburgh, New York) and is signed from J.R. Roach, General Agent, CPR. It mentions additional information was sent under separate cover for tours of Banff, Field, the Canadian Rockies and steamer trips. The envelope has a Grand Central Anex cancelation and the perfin 3 cent Washington stamp shows the letters CPR for the Canadian Pacific Railway.
