    Description

    Own a classic of electric car history!
    This 1980 Comutacar was upgraded by the owner previous to us from 48V to 72V. That involved him buying a 72v ES-40D-6 D&D motor, nine 8v batteries to power it, new D&D controller, etc. He drove it around 2010-12 but then it sat until we bought it. We intended to do the repair it needed (unknown, but not expected to be major) but just haven’t had the time. Thus, it is not running at this time.
    Per the previous owner, it needs ignition wiring repair, brake work, and some general upkeep. It also comes with a notebook of engineering drawings provided by the previous owner. The car is located in Eugene, Oregon. We do not have a title for the car, but it is street-legal in all 50 states.
