    Description

Thanks for taking a look at my 1995 Kawasaki GPZ1100
She's a really fun old motorcycle that I have personally owned for 13 years.
    I am listing this bike
with no reserve.  So, if you are a bidder, you are a buyer.  Keep this in mind and ask any questions before bidding.
I purchased this motorcycle on January 24th of 2008 from what I was told was the 2nd owner in Palm Beach County, Florida.  He had it for a few years but it was not a bike that his wife felt comfortable riding with him on so he purchased a Harley and put this one up for sale.  At the time that I got it, it had 14,367 miles on and looked almost new.  In the time that I have had it I have had other bikes of various types and sizes but always kept this one because I liked the "old school" look, sound and feel of it.  I would ride it from time to time and always got a lot of looks and questions about it because it was not a common model here in the U.S.  The way I would describe it is a touring version of a Kawasaki Ninja.  It has plenty of power and great handling but it's designed for long range riding comfort.  In the time I have had it I have put just over 3000 miles on it.  Not riding it very frequently meant that it suffered from the same issues that any vehicle that has sat an extended length of time would have.  Carbs would get gummed up, plugs woiuld go bad, hydralics would need servicing.  In preperation for putting it up for sale, I have had the bike serviced and gone through.  It is now running great. Everything is operating as it should and it's safe to ride.
    The good.
I literally just got the bike back from the shop yesturday, 8/4/21.  I had everthing gone through and anything that was not working as it should was repaired. The bike now starts right up, runs great and is ready to ride.  The only thing that should be done soon is a new set of tires.  The tires currently have some life left in them but they are getting old and should probably be replaced sooner rather than later.  The bike is completely stock and unmodified in any way.
    The "could use attention"
Ok, let's be realistic. This is  a 26 year old motorcyle.  It's not going to be perfect .  When this bike was produced no one expected that it would still be around and on the road 26 years later.  It is mechanically in great shape, has low miles and has what is refered to as a "bullet proof" engine and transmission  .  Cosmentically, it's beginning to show its age.  The plastics have some wear and tear, some fading , scratches and damage here and there.  I have tried to show this in detail in the pictures.  The paint on the tank looks almost new.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.  I will answer to the best of my knowledge.  If you would like to schedule to look at it or have it looked at, I can work with you on that.  I travel extensively for work so I may have to make arrangements for someone else to be there when that happens.
I will not allow tests rides at all, so don't ask.
If I am there, I will be happy to start it up and ride it for you so you can see that it's a running, rideable bike.  No one will ride this bike but me until it is bought, paid for and the title is signed over.
