    1997 AVI Panoz Roaster for sale by owner. This is not a clone or kit car of any kind. The Panoz Roadster is a real American sports car launched in 1992 by the American manufacturer Panoz Auto Development Company of Georgia. The Panoz Roadster meets all 1997 Federal Emissions and OBD-ll and safety regulations. They were built using aluminum, similar to that of the Plymouth Prowler first sold several years later in 1997. The car was fabricated with one of the first all aluminum light weight bodies and weights only 2,571 lbs. It handles like a sports car on rails. The ride is so very comfortable yet does not lean in turns. The steering is very direct and loads up in turns better than I've ever experienced in any car. With 430 horsepower from the Ford 4.6 liter dual overhead cam 32 valve Ford Cobra engine, it has the power to throw you out the curves. I've enjoyed this car for the last eleven years mostly on 2 hour weekend trips in the summer and driving high school queens in their parade. I've never taken this car to the track. Always stored indoors in an insulated garage and has never been out in the rain while I've had it. I do have the canvas top for the car that I've never installed. The car starts right up and runs like it should. Things like brakes, lights and wipers all work like they should. The car is always ready to take out for a ride. I don't see any dents or dings but inspection in person is recommended. I had the seats recovered last year wanting to keep the car as new as possible. Researching other Panoz Roasters I can see this car is worth ,000. I have a very low reserve in hopes I won't need to go through a lot to sell my car. Panoz AVI Roadsters were selling for ,000 ten years ago. So it should only increase in value with time if you continue to take care of it. Please don't bid unless you really plan on buying the car.
