Description
This motorcycle is 100% factory original. Everything on this motorcycle is completely stock (OEM) and genuine from Kawasaki in 1998. This is exactly what it looked like when it rolled off of the Kawasaki dealership floor in 1998. The only upgrade to this motorcycle is the windshield which is top of the line and was added when it was new (it offers superior wind control). This is one of the most beautiful Kawasaki Voyager 1200 motorcycles that I’ve seen. I’m the second owner of this bike. The original owner would jokingly claim that he treated this motorcycle better than he treated his own children. The motorcycle has been extremely well taken care of and garage kept 100% of its life. It’s hard to find a Kawasaki 1200 Voyager in the gorgeous condition that this one is in. On average, vintage/classic Kawasaki Voyagers like this that are found these days will usually be in poor cosmetic condition based on being left outside for years and lack of proper care. Either way, these motorcycles are hard to find currently. It’s amazing how new this motorcycle looks knowing that it’s a vintage/classic motorcycle that’s almost 25 years old. Take the original OEM seat for example. The seat is beautiful. The leather has no rips or tears and is as soft and supple as it was when it was first rolled out of the factory in 1998.
The factory paint is also original and gorgeous. The Kawasaki factory paint on this motorcycle is called Pearl Boulogne and you can argue that it has one of the best-looking paint schemes out of all the Kawasaki Voyager models. The Pearl Boulogne and black color setup with the gold Kawasaki emblems/logos really make this motorcycle shine.
This Kawasaki Voyager 1200 touring motorcycle has just over 36k miles on it which is very low mileage for this type of 4-cylinder tourer. These Kawasaki Voyager motorcycles are designed for cross-country travel and can effortlessly run for thousands of miles coast to coast. This motorcycle looks beautiful and is very clean! It’s not in perfect condition, there are cosmetic blemishes on the motorcycle but without a doubt the motorcycle looks absolutely beautiful. There are many reasons why Kawasaki has been making the Voyager for over 35 years (first Voyager was built in 1986). These engines are bulletproof.
These Voyager touring motorcycles were designed to exceed 250,000 miles on the engine with no problems.
The motorcycle is ready to ride. The motorcycle was serviced last year by a certified/licensed motorcycle mechanic. Since the servicing, only ethanol free gas has been put in the motorcycle. The motorcycle has not been ridden much since I became the owner. I’ve mainly been using it for display in the garage. The last time it was ridden was last month. I put between 50-75 miles on it. I would recommend a basic tune up based on it last being serviced last year. There are no oil leaks. I would be 100% confident in driving this motorcycle from Anchorage, Alaska to Miami, Florida and back with no problems.
This motorcycle has a NADA value at ,850 (the reserve is much lower). This motorcycle is considered vintage/classic and the value is going up every year. This is one of the nicest Kawasaki Voyager 1200 motorcycles that I have seen. This motorcycle is unbelievably smooth, it has lots of power and it handles very well.
All lights, horn, left/right turn signals, front/rear brakes, tachometer and speedometer work perfectly. The radio, cassette player and antenna work (the antenna is removable). It also comes with a passenger remote controller for the radio/cassette player (all waterproof). Both the passenger seat and the trunk can be adjusted for more room for the passenger. Everything in the storage containers look as they should, including the vanity mirror in the trunk (the trunk light also works well).
The motorcycle comes with a clean title, two genuine Kawasaki keys and the original/genuine Kawasaki tool kit. It also comes with the original manual. Everything is OEM/genuine.
This motorcycle is available to be shipped anywhere in the United States or Canada. If you need this shipped, email me for a shipping quote (buyer is responsible for the shipping cost). The motorcycle can also be picked up by the buyer.
