A Quick Note About Shipping Cost:
Shipping is .99 for the first upright as the box has a side that is over 30" and thus considered an over-sized package by UPS, incurring an .00 surcharge.  Unfortunately, we cannot avoid this surcharge, and so it is included in the shipping price of the first upright. Each additional upright is only .00 to ship as they can be added to the same box as the first.
About The Upright:
This durable aluminum upright sets the height of your pipe and drape display, and is the vertical piece of pipe that is located at each end of a horizontal drape support rod. Two pieces of pipe work together to make an 8 foot tall upright in this break apart system. A 4 foot section serves as the bottom of the upright and is put on the base, and a 4 foot 4 inch section serves as the top piece. The 4" portion, located at the bottom of the top pipe, has a slightly smaller diameter and simply slips inside of the top opening of the bottom piece, as shown in the listing photo.
Having a break apart upright makes transportation much easier, as the biggest piece of the upright is only 4 feet 4 inches long. This will fit in most vehicles, whereas an 8 foot fixed (non-break apart) pipe is will not fit inside of most cars (except for some large SUVs).
IMPORTANT:
Because it consists of two pieces (rather than one solid piece like our fixed uprights), the break apart uprights have a bit more wiggle room compared to our fixed uprights. This degree of wiggle can be significantly minimized by ensuring that the spacing between your uprights and drape support rod is correct when setting up your display.
The height, when both pieces are together is 8 feet (or 96") tall, and the diameter is 1.5". This is a Slip-Fit upright, as it is hollow and is meant to be placed on top of a pin that is screwed on to a base (base and pin sold separately). There are 4 slots cut out at 90 degree angles at the top of the upright, and again at 3 feet high (the 3 foot high cut outs are used if making trade show booths with an 8 foot tall back wall and 3 foot tall side walls). These slots act as the entrance point for the hooks in our drape support rods to go in to.  Because there are 4 slots, you can create a variety of display set-ups; in-line/linear, "L shaped", "T shaped", open ended boxes, and fully enclosed boxes. NOTE: Each end of a horizontal drape support rod will ALWAYS need an upright to hold it up.
NOTE: If also purchasing a base from us (base sold separately), the recommended size and weight
for this 8 foot tall upright is our 16" x 14" base that weighs 10 lbs.
An upright must ALWAYS have a base underneath to support it.

Shipping
takes place within 5 business days after payment is received. We ship out of metro-Atlanta and the service used will be UPS. Signature is required for delivery.
Returns
must be made within 7 days of delivery and are subject to a 15% restocking fee unless an error was made on our behalf (at which we'll correct at our expense). Please open and inspect all contents immediately. All items must be new, unused, and the drapes must be unwashed. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and is not refundable. Returned products are subject to inspection before a refund or exchange is processed.
Sales Tax
(6%) is charged to orders shipping within the state of Georgia. If you are a tax exempt organization in Georgia, please contact us prior to placing an order; certain organizations, even with tax exempt status, are still taxable as per the Georgia Department of Revenue.
