    Description

MY BROTHER COLLECTED ROUGH OPAL OVER THE YEARS.  HE LOVED CUTTING AND SHAPING OPAL.  HE PASSED OVER 10 YEARS AGO AND I"M GOING TO START LISTING SOME AMAZING STONES, AT LEAST THEY ARE TO ME.  THESE OPALS HAVE BEEN KEPT IN WATER ALL THESE YEARS.  JUST BEAUTIFUL ROUGH.
THERE ARE THREE STONES.  I BELIEVE BOULDER IN MATRIX.   THE FIRST TWO ARE FINISHED AND THE THIRD IS ROUGH OF THE SAME STONE.  THE FIRST PICTURE CAME OUT MORE BROWN BUT THE COLOR IS MORE AS APPEARS IN THE OTHER PICS.  SINCE THERE IS A TAG ON THE BACK ASSUME ALAN BOUGHT FROM ANOTHER CUTTER.  COMBINED WEIGHT 18.9 CTS.  14/16 INCH LONG.   I MUST ADMIT THAT IF I REMEMBER THIS IS CALLED A MYSTIC OPAL DUE TO COLOR PATTERN?  TRIED TO LOOK BACK FOR THE OTHER PIECE I SOLD BUT COULDN'T FIND.
IT WAS BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT UNLESS I AM CERTAIN WHERE THE OPALS COME FROM I SHOULDN'T PUT AUSTRALIAN IN THE TITLE.  SO I HAVE ADDED THE ???????.  I APPARENTLY SOLD A BAG OF LOOSE ROCKS AS AUSTRALIAN AND THEY TURNED OUT TO BE MEXICAN OPAL.  I AGAIN STATE I AM NO EXPERT.  WORKING ALONG SIDE ALAN WHEN I COULD I DO BELIEVE THE MAJORITY ARE AUSTRALIAN.  SO I GUESS I AM SELLING AS IS.
THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AT MY LISTINGS.  ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING.
