Clean Marklin 1-Gauge Tinplate Covered Gondola Bing Carette Bub Fandor KBN

Description

Clean Marklin 1-gauge handpainted tin, covered-gondola with what appears to be the original canvas covering marked "G.M. & C." on both sides. About 11 inches long. Has tin wheels and all four bumpers, which appear to be original. I'm not sure if the couplers are complete or not. The Marklin trade-stamp is visible on the underside of the frame though its a bit worn. Also appears to be some writing on the underside of the frame in white which I presume was written there by the retailer who sold the train.
There is pimpling and crazing to the paint on the outside of the walls of the car, and to the truck sideplates. Paint appears all original to me. The canvas covering has some minor spotting at one end with just a bit of yellowing overall. Notwithstanding, the car and canvas covering are both Ex. to Ex. plus.
In an effort to be fair to all bidders, I do not end auction-style listings early including based on Buy it Now offers or requests from buyers. So please do not ask me to do so. Thanks for your cooperation in this regard.

Shipping
: I will ship to Canada, Alaska and Hawaii. But the cost of shipping to those locations will be more than the quoted shipping price and bidders who live there should contact me prior to the end of the auction for a shipping quote. I will always combine shipping if you purchase multiple lots.
Please note that due to COVID my stated handling time for shipping is 5 days after receiving cleared payment from the buyer. However, I try to ship within 3 days of receiving cleared payment and do so most of the time. If for some reason you cannot wait 5 days before your item is shipped, please do not bid on my items.
Returns
: I will gladly refund your money if I make a mistake in describing something. But please make sure you really want the item before you bid. I do not give returns if a buyer simply changes his or her mind, deciding after the fact that they don't want an item.
