Crafted with Marucci's AZ105 aluminum, this model offers superior feel and durability. It's the strongest aluminum alloy in Marucci's lineup, allowing for thinner walls and improved response rate on contact. In addition to the high-end AZ105 alloy, this bat features the Multi-Variable Wall Design for an expanded sweet spot and forgiving response when contact is off center. It's a ring-free barrel designed to create more overall flex and totally eliminate dead spots. Contact comfort is central to this bat's design thanks to the improved AV2 anti-vibration knob. Great bat. Switched back to an aluminum bat because my 11yr is breaking composite bats. We bought this one just to have a different paint scheme than all the others. I was a little disappointed when we received the bat it had a price tag on it for 229.99 and we paid 289.99. I understand paying a little extra for the limited edition paint scheme but you would think that they would at least change the price tag.
