WHAT IS THE REASON TO HAVE A MASK?
The washable/reusable masks are made in the USA. The masks are meant to be worn by the average population and not intended for medical use. They are meant to help block large-particle droplets, splashes, sprays, or splatter that may contain germs (viruses and bacteria), keeping it from reaching your mouth and nose. They may also help reduce exposure of your saliva and respiratory secretions to others.  This is to coincide with making sure the medical field has the medical/surgical masks needed and for people protecting others by wearing a mask and vice versa.
SHOULD I WEAR FACE MASKS IN PUBLIC?
CDC (Center for Disease Control And Prevention) recommends
wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies),
especially
in areas of significant community-based transmission.
HOW TO USE A FACE MASK?
Before putting on a mask, clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
Cover mouth and nose with mask and make sure there are no gaps between your face and the mask.
Avoid touching the mask while using it; if you do, clean your hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
Replace the mask with a new one as soon as it is damp and do not re-use single-use masks.
To remove the mask: remove it from behind (do not touch the front of mask); discard immediately in a closed bin; clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY INGEAR MASK?
Hand wash by rinsing outer and inner layer with water.  Add a drop of liquid soap and gently rub around inner and outer layer.  Rinse again and hang to fully dry before storage in a cool, dry place. You can also wash it on a gentle cycle by placing in a pillow case or laundry bag.  Clean your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer before touching the mask.  Avoid touching the front of the mask. Reusable masks should be disinfected at the end of the day - so if you are home, a good suggestion is to hang away from people and objects. It’s good to have more than one cloth mask per person so you can wash one mask and have the other one ready to go.
CAN FACE MASKS CAUSE ACNE?
No, on its own our face masks cannot cause acne. It is recommended to maintain healthy nutrition and keep your face clean, but it is safe to use INGEAR personal reusable protective face masks even if you suffer from acne.
