This is an unused Rhine Air MAV-5C portable AIR-DRIVEN ambient air breathing system.  The system includes an oilless pump, two NIOSH masks, two 100' air lines, a 100' air inlet line all stowed in a reusable shipping container.  The pump is air-driven and requires 80 CFM of air to run the oilless breathing compressor.  Being air driven is beneficial in explosive environments such as fuel tank inspection procedures.   The kit provides clean air from an uncontaminated source to personnel in confined spaces where high concentrations of gases or low oxygen content exist.  The set was originally marketed for mobile aircraft fuel tank inspection and service.
THE COMPRESSOR IS AIR-DRIVEN, NOT ELECTRIC MOTOR DRIVEN.  THE COMPRESSOR REQUIRES 50 CFM OF AIR TO OPERATE.
