This is HALF ROUND, DEAD SOFT Sterling Silver wire. Higher gauge numbers represent smaller wires.  There is a picture of 18 gauge in this listing. The 20 gauge is thinner than 18 gauge, and 22 and 24 gauges are smaller than 20 gauge.
Sterling contains 92.5% silver. Sterling is springier than fine silver and keeps its shape better. Sterling is better to use for pieces that you don't want to bend too easily.
Half round wire is great for ring bands and many other uses. Half round wire will not roll when weaving and stays in place when making rings and bracelets. Half round jump rings make great, unusual chains and chain-mail.

All wire comes in coils.  Twenty feet is the longest coil available.  We find there is less chance of tangling at that length.  When using, leave one tie attached to the coil to aid in tangle-free use. When ordering 40 feet, for instance, expect two 20 foot coils. When larger lengths are available: order more than one of the same gauge wire and receive one continuous piece up to 20 feet.  For example, order two 2 foot lengths and expect one piece that is 4 foot long, when available, and up to 20 feet, total, for each coil.

Choose the desired gauge and quantity. When ordering more than one gauge, add each to the shopping cart to combine your orders into one. Once all desired gauges/quantities are in the shopping cart, then complete the order by paying for all items in your shopping cart at once.
