Taxidermy Carrie At The Prom. Taxidermy Guinea Pig. Blood-Soaked Carrie Art Doll. Condition is "New".
Carrie at the Prom, in the form of a guinea pig.
Carrie has always been one of my favorites, for reasons obvious to anyone who's seen it, or knows me, or both. It's a classic. So I've recreated her here in the form of a very bloody guinea pig.
I made the guinea pig first, then, using stills from the original film, built the dress to fit her. The tiara was a vintage doll tiara that I added rhinestones to. The wig was cut, treated, and colored to be the same color as seen in the film. The flowers are even laying in her arms at the same angle, from when the blood hits her.
The blood is resin and drips down every inch of her, even pooling around the plastic base upon which she is perched.
She's got that loom in her eye of abject shock! Uh oh, this guinea pig is about to wreak havok on these unsuspecting high schoolers! I mean...how adorable would THAT movie be!?!?!?
She stands at 8.5" tall and is just under 5" wide at the widest part of her skirt.
Animal origin: purchased frozen from a pet food company. Meat was fed to my happy dog, skin and bones retained for art. :)
