Vintage 1940s Wood Baseball Bat, Brand New! Never Used!
These wooden bats were made by the HARTWELL BROTHERS Handle Company in Memphis, TN.
Their company manufactured bats beginning in the early 1940's and stopped making them in the 1950's.
These are all new bats, which have been in a storage room above the old hardware store for over 50 years, according to the great-grandson of the hardware store's founder.
Here is a list of the bats and their lengths:
