VINTAGE JAPANESE TOOL TERMPERED IRON BONSAI FINE CUTTING SCISSORS

This vintage Japanese spring loaded scissors was made in Japan over 50
years ago (c. 1970)
of high tempered stainless spring steel.  It is great for any small cutting projects whether mall bonsai, paper, cotton or small threads.
While it shows some minor signs of past use, it remains in overall
very good condition
.
This type of one piece scissors was designed for cutting threads, hairs and making small, precise cuts without damaging adjacent material.  This size is suitable for fine fabric as well as detailed bonsai work and ultra fine detail work.  Old world craftsmanship for the new world craftsman. Measures a functional 4 1/4" long (11 cm), with the blade measuring 1 1/2" (4 cm). While these are sharp they could use a final sharpening for optimal use.
