Virginia Cavaliers Football Helmet Identified To Reiss Signed Al Groh Circa 2006. NO COA.

This UVA helmet has been signed by Al Groh.  My understanding is the sticker inside that says 113 REISS P is an inventory number, along with the player name REISS and the P means practice helmet.  This may or may not be the case, but there was a player named Crutcher Reiss on the team during this time period.  Helmet was reconditioned and doesn't appear to have been used in my opinion afterwards, or if so very lightly.  I believe this helmet was signed in 2006 by coach Groh and the 06 was put on back to commemorate this...there is a recondition sticker dated 2006 inside as well.  Two facemask clips date 2004 and two 2000, and the mask dates 2003, so latest date is 2006 I see.  The helmet is XL.  That is about all I can add...see the pictures and enjoy this helmet on display in your office, game room, den, etc.
